How is BD coaching different to Executive or Career coaching?


Business Development coaching focuses on helping you to achieve peak performance in the areas of client relationship management, winning work and leading others to achieve growth.




How much does it cost?


Coaching sessions are in units of 50 minutes and we charge £325 plus VAT per session. There are discounts available for individuals and multiple sessions booked in advance. Prior to your first session we offer a 20 minute (free of charge) initial discussion with your coach, for you to decide if the chemistry is right between you. How do I pay?


You can pay by Paypal or credit card or invoice. Payment is required in advance of the coaching.




How many sessions will I need?


That is really up to you and your objectives, but we recommend a minimum of four sessions to achieve the best results.

What is your cancellation policy?


In the event of the cancellation of a coaching session, the following applies:

  • If the Client cancels with 10 days or more notice from the date of the booked coaching session, there is no charge/no payment between the relevant parties.
  • If the Client cancels with 9 to 3 days notice, 50% of the fee will be charged to the Client.
  • If the Client cancels within 48 hours, the full charge will be levied.

BD Coaching Hub reserves the right to withhold charging the Client if circumstances allow.


In the event of a coaching session being rearranged, the following applies:

  • If the Client rearranges a coaching session with more than 48hrs notice and that rearranged date is within six weeks of the original date, there will be no penalty.
  • If the Client rearranges a coaching session with less than 48hrs notice there will be a 50% rearrangement fee.




Which online platform(s) do you use for coaching sessions?


We will try to adapt to your requirements but most of our coaches prefer Zoom or Microsoft Teams.




What are your coaches’ qualifications?


Our coaches are chosen because of their skills and expertise in both coaching and business development. Please see our Meet the coaches page for details.




How do you decide which coach is right for me?


Once you have completed your initial enquiry form we will invite you to a 30-minute discussion (free of charge, of course) to understand you and your goals further so that we can recommend a match.




What if I don’t like my coach?


You can change to a different coach at any time.

Having a good rapport with your coach is vital, which is why we offer you a 20 minute (free of charge) initial meeting to assess the chemistry between you and your coach. If at this stage, or at any point during your coaching, you feel the relationship is not working between you and your coach, please contact us at jo.walker@bdcoachinghub.com.




Are coaching sessions completely confidential?


Absolutely! It is an essential ingredient of any coaching relationship.

BD Coaching Hub (BDCH) does not hold any data relating to the content of discussions between Client and Coach during the coaching sessions. Coaching records are held by the Coach only, and Coaches are bound to a Code of Conduct that ensures the privacy of all discussions and data relating to their Clients.


Sessions are NOT recorded by BDCH or the BDCH Coach. As a Client you may wish to record sessions for your own personal use, however you must ask permission of your Coach before recording.

How long are the sessions?


Coaching sessions are in units of 50 minutes.

We know that many people have meetings bumped up against each other throughout the day and most of those are for an hour. This is why our coaching sessions are 50 minutes long, giving you 10 minutes to reflect on the session, consider objectives for the next session and be 100% ready to focus on your next meeting.
